17" (43 cm). Composition shoulderhead with
painted brown side-parted hair in foppish manner,
painted brown eyes, painted lashes, white
eyedots, arched brows, accented nostrils, hinged
mouth that opens and closes from pull-string at
back of head, painted teeth, cloth stitch-jointed
body with composition gloved hands and black
modelled shoes. CONDITION: Generally excellent.
MARKS: Edgar Bergen's Charlie McCarthy An
Effanbee Product. COMMENTS: Effanbee, circa 1935.
VALUE POINTS: Superb original condition, with
original formal wear suit, celluloid button,
monocle, top hat.
