13" (33 cm). Ebony black bisque shoulderhead,
brown glass inset eyes with spiral threading,
dark painted lashes, black brows, accented
nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with wide
beaming smile, two rows of painted teeth, grey
mohair wig, black muslin body, black composition
lower arms and legs, bare feet, antique calico
gown, apron, carrying little bisque baby.
CONDITION: Generally excellent. MARKS: N1
(script). COMMENTS: Germany, circa 1890. VALUE
POINTS: Rare doll with beautiful ebony
complexion, highly characterized features,
original body.
