Description
The chubby faced googly with mischievous
expression, and facial features resembling the
Campbell Kid model by Grace Drayton, has swivel
head on bisque torso, large brown glass sleep and
side-glancing googly eyes with painted lashes and
brows, accented eye corners and nostrils of pug
nose, closed mouth with "watermelon slice" smile,
blonde mohair bobbed wig, loop-jointed bisque
arms and legs with painted blue socks and black
one strap shoes. The doll wears original cotton
pink and white smock dress and panties.
Incised "189 2/0" on head and "2/0" inside limbs.
Circa 1915. 6" (15 cm).
