Description
The all-bisque doll has swivel head on kid-edged
bisque torso, brown glass sleep eyes, painted
lashes, single stroke brows, open mouth, four
tiny teeth, blonde mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque
arms and legs with painted high black stockings
and brown two-strap shoes. The doll wears her
store-original rose silk dress with lace and
ribbon trim, matching bonnet with organza and
silk rosettes, muslin undergarments with lace
trim to match the costume. Signed "886 1". Simon
and Halbig for the French market, circa 1890. 5
