Description
The bebe has poured bisque socket head, blue
glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner
encircling the eye sockets, lushly painted
lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered brows,
accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed
mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced
ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original
composition and wooden fully jointed body. The
doll wears Jumeau factory original patterned silk
dress with exquisite detail of applique braid at
collar, cuffs and skirt front, tiny pearl
buttons, lace panels at front, side and back of
skirt, and has antique undergarments, velvet
lined bonnet, knit stockings, black leather
shoes. The doll has original gilt-lettered maroon
silk "Bebe Jumeau" banner on sleeve and Jumeau
maroon earrings. Signed "Depose Tete Jumeau Bte
SGDG 3" on head and "Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris"
on torso. 12" (38 cm).
