Description
A bisque doll with socket head, brown glass sleep
eyes, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented
nostrils, open mouth, four teeth, brunette mohair
wig, original composition and wooden fully
jointed body, is presented within a walnut-
finished wooden armoire. Surrounding the doll are
a generous assortment of linens tied with
original blue silk ribbons. Mounted on the inside
doors of the armoire are additional muslin
chemises and undergarments. The doll wears a
muslin chemise dress with aqua lace and ribbons,
woven socks, leather shoes signed 2/0. The doll
is signed "1079 Germany Halbig S&H 1 1/2". 9 1/2"
(24 cm).
