Description
The bisque socket head doll has blue glass sleep
eyes, painted lower lashes, feathered brows,
accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth,
shaded lips, four teeth, brunette mohair wig,
original composition and wooden fully-jointed
body. The doll wears store original costume
comprising muslin dress with insert panels of
lace, Bertha collar and capelet sleeves, ruffled
bonnet, petticoat, panties, socks and black
leather shoes. Signed "301/28" in red stamp,
and "2/0" incised. SFBJ, circa 1918. 10" (25 cm).
