Description
The bisque socket head doll has blue glass sleep
eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, side-
feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye
corners, closed mouth modelled as though open
with row of teeth and laughing expression,
dimpled cheeks, double chin, blonde mohair wig,
original composition bent limb baby body. The
doll wears original white pique baby gown, bib,
bunting, jacket, and is presented in woven wicker
handled layette fitting generously with royal
blue silk and lace ruffle. The doll is
signed "SFBJ 236 Paris O". SFBJ, circa 1912. 7"
(18 cm).
