Description
The bisque socket head doll with plump rounded
facial modelling has brown glass sleep eyes,
painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows,
open mouth with shaded lips, two porcelain upper
teeth, defined chin, blonde mohair wig over
plaster pate, original composition and wooden
ball-jointed body, antique costume. Signed "A
made in Germany 5 143" on head and "Germany" on
body. Kestner, circa 1915. 12" (30 cm).
