Description
The bisque socket head doll has blue glass sleep
eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered
brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open
mouth with accented lips, four porcelain teeth,
pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, original
composition and wooden ball-jointed body. The
doll wears her original dotted Swiss long dress
with petticoat, flannel panties, woolen cape with
feather-stitch trim, lace bonnet with silk
ruffles, knitted jacket and booties. Signed "1079-
1 dep S&H". Simon and Halbig, circa 1900. 9" (23
cm).
