Description
The bisque doll has socket head, blue glass sleep
eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes,
feathered brows, open mouth, four teeth, brunette
mohair wig, original composition and wooden fully
jointed body. The doll wears store original
costume comprising ivory silk dress with matching
bonnet, stiffened muslin chemise and pantalets
with matching lace, woven cream stockings, cream
kid slippers with star medallion. Signed "1078
Simon & Halbig S&H Germany 3/0". Simon and Halbig
for the French market, circa 1900. 7 1/2" (19 cm).
