Description
The bisque socket head doll has brown glass sleep
eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows,
accented nostrils, open mouth, four teeth, blonde
mohair wig, five piece paper mache walking body
with painted shoes and socks. The doll wears
antique white dress with blue silk sash, and
matching wide-brimmed bonnet, and owns an
assortment of accessories and additional costume
(some homemade) including bone-handled jumprope
and bonnet, and is preserved in her original
store box with engraving on the lid. Signed "K*R
S&H". Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1910. 6" doll
(15 cm). 7"x 9" box.
