Description
The bisque socket head doll has large blue glass sleep eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French composition body jointed at shoulders and hips. The doll wears store-original pale green silk dress with generous lace and ribbon trim, matching ruffled bonnet, matching petticoat, chemise and pantalets, black woven stockings, black leather shoes signed C.P. Signed "1079 Dep S&H". Simon and Halbig bisque head, for the French market, circa 1900. 10 1/2" (26 cm).
