Description
The round-faced googly has bisque socket head,
blue glass side-glancing googly eyes, painted
lashes, arched feathered brows, accented nostrils
and eye corners, closed mouth with grinning
smile, dimpled cheeks, double chin. The doll has
a modelled bisque hat with "stars" decorated
band, composition and wooden fully jointed body.
The doll wears charactistic Uncle Sam stars and
stripes costume. Signed "Dep Elite US (script)
1". Max Handwerck, circa 1915. 9 1/2" (24 cm).
