Description
The bisque socket head doll has rounded facial
modelling with defined chin, large blue glass
sleep eyes with dark eyeliner, dark painted
lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open
mouth, shaded and accented lips, four porcelain
teeth, blonde mohair bobbed wig, original
composition toddler body jointed at shoulders and
hips with chubby stomach and "starfish" modelled
hands. The doll wears original cotton romper
dress and panties, shoes and socks and knit blue
and pink cloche. Signed "made in Germany JDK
260". Kestner, circa 1920. 9 1/2" (24 cm).
