Description
The bisque socket head doll has blue glass inset
eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows,
accented eye corners, open mouth, shaded lips,
four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, blonde mohair
wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body.
The doll wears antique costume comprising dress
of pont d'esprit lace over ivory silk underdress,
chemise, slip, woolen slip, brown leather boots
and aqua silk bonnet. Signed "21 Mon Tresor 1" on
head. Henri Rostal, Paris, circa 1914. 12" (30
cm).
