Description
The bisque socket head doll has elongated facial
modelling, brown glass inset eyes, painted
lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and
eye corners, slightly parted lips, four porcelain
teeth, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig,
composition and wooden ball-jointed body. The
doll wears antique costume of parlour maid,
comprising dotted Swiss The bisque socket head

stockings, white leather shoes and carries little
bisque doll in her pocket. Signed "204". Bahr and
Proschild, circa 1890. 11" (28 cm). Repaired.
