Description
The bisque character doll has socket head, bright
blue glass sleep eyes, painted curly lashes,
single stroke brows, accented nostrils of
upturned nose, closed mouth with modelled space
between the teeth, brunette mohair wig,
composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body
with shorter upper legs. The doll wears antique
lace dress over peach underdress, stockings,
shoes, chemise, and is resting in wooden wagon
decorated with French colors of red, white and
blue with rosette trim. The doll is signed SFBJ
247 Paris 5/0. SFBJ, circa 1912. 7" (18 cm).
