Description
The bisque socket-head doll has blue glass sleep
eyes, painted lashes, single stroke brows, open
mouth, four teeth, blonde mohair wig, original
paper mache body jointed at shoulders and hips,
painted black stockings and brown two-strap
shoes. The doll wears store original folklore
costume comprising red cotton pleated skirt,
black vest, white shawl with lace trim to match
the lace of coiffe, petticoat, pantalets, cutwork
scalloped-edge apron. Signed "S&H K*R 17. Kammer
and Reinhardt, circa 1910. 7" (17 cm).
