Description
The bisque bebe has socket head, blue glass sleep
eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes,
feathered brows that exactly match the mohair
wig, accented nostrils and eye corners, open
mouth with row of teeth, original composition and
wooden fully jointed body. The doll is contained
in wooden doll trunk with decorative papers, lift-
out tray and containing a number of original
costumes: baby gown with blue cotton liner and
matching bonnet, muslin lace-edged night shift
with matching chemise and pinafore, blue woolen
jacket with fur collar, Scottish suit with black
velvet jacket and tam and plaid skirt and shawl,
and pillow and sheet, trunk key included. The
doll is marked "France SFBJ 301 Paris 2/0". Circa
1915. 10" (25 cm).
