Description
The bisque socket head doll has sculpted short
brown curly hair with forelock detail, painted
large blue side-glancing googly eyes with
intaglio detail, black upper eyeliner, one stroke
brows, pug nose, closed mouth with hint of smile,
impressed dimples, composition toddler body
jointed at shoulders and hips. The doll wears
blue short trousers with lace-collared shirt,
white stockings, grey shoes, and carries jump
rope. Signed "322 A 11/0 M Germany". Armand
Marseille, circa 1920. 7 1/2" (19 cm).
