Description
The bisque socket head doll has very chubby face,
brown sculpted hair from beneath a green military
helmet with spike finial and spread eagle symbol,
brown glass side-glancing googly eyes, painted
lashes, short feathered brows, accented nostrils
and eye corners, closed mouth with wide beaming
smile, shaded lips, impressed dimples, blushed
cheeks, composition five piece toddler body with
chubby torso. The doll wears grey woolen uniform
with red striping, brown leggings, black leather
shoes. Signed "Dep Elite D 1". Max Handwerck,
circa 1915. 10 1/2" (26 cm).
