Description
The bisque socket head doll has solid dome, brown
painted boyish hair with forelock modelling,
painted facial features, grey eyes with large
black pupils, black stroke short brows, closed
mouth with hint of impish smile, dimpled cheeks,
original composition toddler jointed at shoulders
and hips. The doll wears antique maroon velvet
suit with double-breasted buttons, white shirt,
straw hat, shoes, socks. Signed "500 Germany A
3/0 M". Armand Marseille, circa 1920. 8 1/2" (21
cm).
