Description
The bisque socket head doll has chocolate brown
complexion, brown glass inset eyes, painted black
lashes and brushstoked brows with decorative
glaze, accented nostrils, open mouth, four
porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black fleecy hair,
original brown composition and wooden ball-
jointed body. The doll wears antique calico dress
and apron, undergarments, stockings, leather
saddle shoes and straw bonnet with flowers.
Signed "S&H 1009 dep St.". Simon and Halbig,
circa 1895. 10 1/2" (26 cm).
