Description
A pale bisque socket head doll with flat-cut neck socket that rests and pivots upon composition torso dowel, has blue enamel glass inset eyes, red upper eyeliner, single stroke brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, lambs wool wig, original five piece paper mache body with plump limbs, painted creamy socks with blue rims, painted black shoes with red bows. The doll wears her original muslin chemise with lace trim. Unmarked, circa 1885. 8" (20 cm).
