Description
The doll has poured bisque socket head, large
amber brown glass paperweight inset eyes, long
painted lashes, brushstroked and multi-feathered
brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed
mouth with shaded and accented lips, pierced
ears,
blonde mohair wig over cork pate, original
composition and wooden fully jointed body. The
doll wears antique French cotton bebe dress with
printed floral designs, cotton lace trim,
undergarments, straw bonnet with lace underbrim
and cluster of tiny berries, rose knit stockings
and matching Jumeau rose shoes. Marked "Depose
Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 2" and artist's checkmarks
on
head, and "Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris" on body.
