Description
A very pale-complexioned pressed bisque bebe has
elongated oval face with portrait-like
expression, small blue glass enamel inset eyes,
dark eyeliner encircling the eyecuts, painted
lashes, arched feathered brows, accented eye
corners and nostrils, closed mouth with shaded
and accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair
wig over cork pate, original composition and
wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with
straight wrists. The doll is wearing an antique
costume comprising dress of embroidered cutwork,
undergarments, stockings, black leather shoes
signed with figure of doll, blue silk bonnet with
floral and lace trim. Unmarked. Emile Jumeau,
