Description
20" (51 cm.) Dark brunette hair with two forehead bangs and cluster of curls at her nape. Wearing crisp aqua taffeta gown with very full sleeves accented with large shaded pink flowers which match the flowers on her wide-brimmed picture hat, velvet sash and hat streamers with tiny rosebud tassels, hooped ivory taffeta petticoat with rose buds, panties, stockings, gold cross-strap shoes, rhinestone earrings, sapphire ring, pearl bracelet. Near mint condition, beautiful cheek color, perfect coiffure. Alexander, model 2176, from "Formal Gowns" series of 1957 where the model was described as "looking as though she just stepped out of a portrait by Gainsborough", this being a rare color variation of the costume.
