Description
18" (46 cm.) Hard plastic head with sculpted and painted short brown curly hair, large blue sleep eyes, cloth torso, vinyl arms and legs in bent baby poser, wearing original pink organdy baby dress with clusters of rose ribbons, lace-edged matching bonnet, matching panties, organdy slip, shoes, socks. Fine unplayed with condition with superbly detailed costume, beautiful complexion and hair, original paper label "Baby Sue", and in original American Character box with applied Petite Dolls label. Circa 1949, included is pencil note "First Xmas gift from Mama 1949".
