Description
10" (25 cm.) man. 14"l. cart bed. Polychromed terra cotta head, sculpted black windblown hair, ruddy complexion, enamel eyes, mouth modeled nearly closed, teeth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, painted dark green stockings, black shoes with red buckles, original costume. Excellent condition, few tears in costume. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, along with a wooden delivery cart with cast metal fittings, spoked wheels, and original wooden barrels.
