Description
12" (30 cm.) Hard plastic socket head, sleep eyes, reddish/brown curly hair, nine piece body with bendable wrists and knees, wearing sheer aqua organdy party dress with featherstitch and lace trim, taffeta underslip and panties, white socks, black strap sandals with short heels, white woven hat with tiny flowers. Marks: Lissy, Alexander (doll). Very good condition, slight complexion fading, the doll is preserved in her original box labeled "Lissy 1241". Alexander, model 1241, 1956, the Lissy model is celebrating her 50th birthday. In the 1956 Alexander catalog the 1241 model was shown, described as "starched and prim and neat with shining curls".
