Paper mache head depicting a cat with painted facial features and sculpted ears, paper mache human-body with sculpted and painted colorful costume, jointed arms, hinged "walking" legs with sculpted over-sized boots. Condition: original finish and painting throughout with typical rubs. Comments: "Puss in Boots", by Cesar, a manufacturer of carton toys and masks, circa 1900. Value Points: amusing French story book figure with vivid and imaginative decorations.
