20" (51 cm.) Hard plastic socket head, sleep eyes, auburn wig in originally arranged elaborate coiffure, adult female shaped body, wearing pink taffeta short sleeved gown with braid trim, purple velvet jacket with patterned ribbon and fringe at the sleeves and braid trim around the edges, floral spray at the waist, matching woven bonnet with floral and tulle decorations, pink nylon hooped petticoat, panties, stockings, lilac sling heels, earrings, solitaire ring. Marks: Alexander (doll). Beautifully preserved condition of the very rare model with fresh colors of costume, blushed cheeks, original coiffure, original wrist booklet. Alexander, a rare and superb model produced for one season only, circa 1961.
