Both have hard plastic socket head, sleep eyes, brunette hair, five piece body, she wearing blue print pinafore gown over organdy blouse, red apron, tulle and cotton petticoat, pantalets, socks, black snap shoes, with elaborate coiffure; he wearing blue checkered pants, blue felt flannel jacket with double-breasted brass buttons, matching cap, white shirt, black socks, black shoes. Marks: (name of doll) Alexander (costume). Pristine condition of the rosy-cheeked children with crisp costumes, original coiffure, each with original wrist label and original box (Jo with Wanamaker label, Laurie with F.A.O. Schwarz label).
