Description
22" (56 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, fringed brows, short curly lashes, accented eye corners and nostrils of upturned nose, open mouth with outlined lips, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, pretty antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5777 10 Heubach (sunburst mark). (Holz-masse stamp on back torso). Comments: Gebruder Heubach, the firm's Dolly Dimple model, circa 1915, so-named for the impressive dimples in each cheek and chin. Value Points: rare model with beautiful complexion, original wig, original body and body finish.
