Description
12" (30 cm.) Paper mache kitten is lavishly covered with white fur, has large green glass eyes, pink nose, and is posed standing, holding a lorgnette in its right hand. When wound, the kitten moves arms up and down, turning head, as though viewing a scene through his lorgnette. Condition: structurally excellent, mechanism functions well. Marks: R.D. (key). Comments: Roullet et Decamps, circa 1900. Value Points: amusing automaton with well-preserved structure, fur, and accessories.
