Description
21" (53 cm.) Porcelain shoulderhead, black sculpted hair waved loosely away from face and captured in chignon at back of head, blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, accented nostrils, closed mouth, on original muslin body with stitched-on red corset, red stockings, and red leather boots, porcelain lower arms. Condition: generally excellent, arms are antique but may not be original to patented body. Marks: Pat'd Dec 15, 1885 (stamp on upper torso). Comments: Germany with original American patented body, circa 1885. Value Points: fine expression and modeling, rare body.
