28" (70 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with wistful expression, shaded lips, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 117 70. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1912. Value Points: charming wistful expression achieved by impressed details around his mouth, finest matte bisque, original body and body finish, original wig, along with vintage mohair teddy bear.
