Description
23" (58 cm.) Shaved mohair kangaroo in standing pose is of cream color with hand-tinted shading and back stripe, jointed arms, swivel head, amber glass eyes, black embroidered nose, tail, elongated front feet, felt-lined ears, and with pouch in which is resting a 6" miniature kangaroo. Condition: generally excellent, baby is missing one ear. Marks: Steiff (button in ear). Comments: Steiff, 1950s. Value Points: well-preserved seldom found animal in unusually large size.
