Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, painted lower lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, blonde mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1079 4 1/2 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: all-original condition, with pristine body and wearing beautiful elaborate original lace costume attributed to the French boutique of Au Nain Bleu.
