6" (15 cm.) Composition head with sculpted black bobbed hair, painted facial features with wide-eyed side-glancing expression, broadly-grinning smile, metal ball-bearing body, composition hands and feet with painted shoes, original costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Made in Switzerland Patents Applied For. Comments: Bucherer, circa 1925, from their series of Saba dolls, representing a popular comic strip character of the era. Value Points: the model is rare to find and capable of infinite articulation which enhances its playful expression.
