Description
8" (20 cm.) Polychromed terra cotta shoulderhead depicting young lad, sculpted unruly curly hair, enamel eyes, closed mouth, tow-wrapped posable armature body, carved wooden lower arms and legs, wearing original homespun costume with laced vest, with kidskin shoulder bag. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s, included are five miniature carved wooden Neapolitan lambs.
