13" (33 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass paperweight inset eyes with dark iris rims, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, upturned lip corners as though smiling, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate with elaborately-arranged original coiffure, kid poupee body with square-cut collarette and bisque hands. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: C (head and shoulderplate). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, 1872. Value Points: fine original state of preservation of the exquisitely beautiful doll, original coiffure, bisque hands, original costume, undergarments, shoes. Ex-Mildred Seeley Collection.
