Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, very deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, mauve blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows with feathered details, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, pierced ears, defined dimples at philtrum and chin, auburn mohair wig over cork pate, slender kid body with scalloped edging at upper rim, kid over wooden upper arms, wooden lower arms and legs, lovely silk dress. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bru Jne 8 (head) No 9 Bru Jne (shoulders) (original Bru label on chest). Comments: Leon Casimir Bru, from the golden era, circa 1884. Value Points: especially beautiful bebe with finest modeling and painting, very deep eyes, original sturdy body, original signed shoes "Bru Jne Paris 9".
