Description
17" (43 cm.) x 17" base, 18"h. Arranged upon a wooden platform is a festive pink painted carousel which is lavishly decorated with painted panels and a roof top upon which are posed six cherubs with violins; six chairs, designed to spin merrily around, are suspended, each with doll, and there are three sets of wooden stairs leading to the ride, and a separate ticket booth with ticket master. The carousel has been electrified to allow movement and lights which needs to be remastered. Excellent condition. Germany, Spielwaren from the workshops of Rudolf Szalasi, 1950s.
