18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent, body retouched. Marks: 32.28. Comments: Gebruder Kuhnlenz, circa 1890. Value Points: unusual expression on the closed mouth child, fine quality of bisque.
