18" (46 cm.) Bisque socket head, painted shaded blue eyes with glazed accents, thick black upper eyeliner, one-stroke tapered brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with very full shaded lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume with toy wooden-wheeled calico horse. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: K*R 114 46. Comments: Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1909, from the art character reform series, their model marketed as "Hans". Value Points: finest quality of bisque with deeply-sculpted features, fine luminous complexion, original body and body finish.
