Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume and bonnet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: A Made in Germany 13 128. Comments: Kestner, circa 1885. Value Points: hard-to-find model with closed mouth, very fine bisque, original body and body finish.
