24" (61 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head, blonde brushstroked painted hair with forelock curls, blue glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils, open mouth shaded and outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Ges Gesch JDK N 1070 Made in Germany 18. Comments: Kestner, circa 1915, their trademark model Hilda. Value Points: especially fine modeling with quality of bisque on the larger Hilda with toddler body having fine original finish.
