15" (38 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, blonde mohair wig over plaster pate, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: X. Comments: Kestner, circa 1882. Value Points: especially sweet-faced child with closed mouth and fine luminous bisque, original body and body finish.
